I know you said you've exhausted other options, but it really doesn't get any easier than Twitch.tv for an account, and Xsplit.  They even have a tutorial there for you to follow.

I got xsplit to work too, and had to play with it endlessly to get it to go full screen.  Took me a full reboot and reload to get it to work, im not sure what else i did

not going to fullscreen is a restriction on the free version, you must have changed something within the program itself then...

I don't know how that's possible, I'll have to go with twitch though as the whole tl2/syn/thrash metal idea seems to be backfiring on me due to copyrights..
my let's play can atm only be watched by europeans!

I'll try to reinstall xswitch, that will make it easier to illustrate any problem

By full screen, do you mean run a game in full screen?  One limitation is you have to run games as Windowed or Windowed Full Screen.  I open Xsplit, set a screen region by clicking top left of screen and dragging to bottom right.  Then it only shows your screen as a tiny portion of the screen, so you hover over the bottom right corner to resize and stretch it.  I did it all through Twitch.tv and it just worked like that.  You may want to give it another shot.

Another option that I haven't tried, but saw on Twitter, is called OBS (Open Broadcast System) I believe.  It advertises no limits on video quality, and it's free and open source.  Could be worth checking out if you can't get Xsplit working?

Oh, I haven't made an update in a while.  I got away from using Xsplit and use a streaming software now called Open Broadcaster Software (OBS).  It's absolutely free, including higher resolutions and better audio quality than the free Xsplit.  I would highly recommend it to any of you out there who are using Xsplit Free currently.  Just read the help file for an easy step-by-step to set it up.
