   fish will only change the pet to their first skin. you'd miss out on a lot of options.
btw.. Xev forgot the additional bags, and i'm unhappy with the size of some pets.^^
I'm having a second look and post a revised version later    i might add fish and more pets.

Adding fish would be awesome.  I have a lightning embermage that would love to have the lightning elemental pet.

Welcome to Catdog's ultimate Petmod overhaul&merge  

(starting pets with synergies)

• last update 16.01
• added Navi Fairy. uses the ugly Desert Flyer Icon. added effects to the fairy in the noskill version 
• added skill free version

->> DOWNLOAD <> Mirror - no skills on pets (also removes synergies zealot's teleport)

--> DOWNLOD <> Mirror -  some pets with skills, teleport. work in progress.
Based on Xev's mod and his icons, but i plan to incorporate any good source i find^
Runs with or without Synergies. no conflicts.

OUTDATED!! This will work for those without synergies! But if you play synergies, use the Pettest Mod for synergies instead. Thanks for attention!


You get:

• Xev's Pets, now with fishes. (most pets offer different skins/meshes in the character creation! if you use the fish and want a special variant you might want to change the entry in the pets .dat file)
• All pets are balanced to NORMAL PET LEVEL. (armor and damage, by xev)

• Added Miles the Fishmonger for now, since the general trader runs out of space. credits to DocMiles
• Renamed fishes to xyz Transmutation. since it does not look like a fish. at all.^^
• Resized some pets. smaller or larger.
• fixed/new mesh for nephilim soldier and djinn.
• New: Standard Pet Transmutations:  Owl, Badger, BigCat, Ferret
• New: Witch Pet, Ponya Pet (creds to DocMiles), Permanent Vampiric Spider Egg 

REROLL YOUR WOLRD !!

Pets with skills (might change)

• Lightning+Poison Elemental, Djinn (3-4 skills, teleports)
• Burrower (charged bolt)
• Tarantula (Web)
• Nephilim Soldier (flying glaive, glaive sweep, leap)
• Witch Pet (using the doll icon and skills: doll circle, teleort, for now a bat attack too)

Bugs:
Using the elemental transmutations after each other will result in a rainbow elemental until you log out to character screen!! This effect is purely cosmetic. Enjoy!! 



This is a work in progress - future plans:
- vanilla pets permanent fish (4 done, rest some other day)
- try to change the little icon in the hud after using permanent fish
- test pet skills, maybe lower their damage a bit more. feels not really overpowered on elite..
- add Fish boss pack mod with his own guids.
- more pets and fish incoming, from the chinese and xev!

Hot damn going to give this a shot  .  Thanks for your work on this.  Downloaded the mod, went to the store and saw no fish . I also noticed your PAK files have today's date.

Maybe you could make a fairy queen fish pet that drops off of the fairy queen. I'd think that would be a cool sign of conquest. having the world bosses be pets. several nerfed in baddassery of course but still. What do you thing Catdog And Salan?

erm. i had no troubles with todays date, guess my synergies file was a day older then yours^^
I've changed the file date to 2022. if you didn't go ahead and changed it yourself, redownload plz
Make sure no other Mod overwrites the general merchant (modeds weapons, etc.) I'll change it to be sold on the fishmonger.

Many thanks for the date change.  The only mods I have are Synegies, D3 hud, and this pet mod so I should be good to go with the merchant.

hey cat i downloaded it again and i noticed the addition of the witch(it's awesome) but i can't find the fish in the shops.  i clicked the DL link in the previous post so i dunno if that points to the right one

I did a fresh download this morning and all was good.  For now a careful using the mech crawler (fish version not sure about as new pet lvl 1).  It crashed my game after I spawned it.  Had to uninstall then reinstall it.

- fixed elementals to make proper rainbows lol
- added Miles the Fishmonger to host all fish.
- added Ponya, and vampiric spider pet!
- added vanilla pet transformations
- added note to reroll your world ^^

- it's not the mech crawler crashing, at least for me its working. but i get a random crash sometimes too, not sure why.. i'll keep an eye on that.


Sorry if you clicked the wrong download.. btw.. the WITCH has the same icon as the DOLL.

And i might not add the new fish as starter pets. don't be surprised! (at least not without icons for them) ..
