It may sound blasphemous to some but since ALL characters regardless of being melee or ranged require 75% DR to function it seems reasonable to increase free DR accross the board to allow customization. When all characters socket the exact same amount of DR skulls you know something is wrong with item diversity.

It is something that gets better and better with higher tiers of gear, so with tier1 gear we should be able to hit the Dr cap of 130% DR without sockets if we soulforge T1, its a good thing since we have something to have as a goal even after we have obtained a tier set we wanted: to soulforge it.

And 2x soulforged T0 gets you 1-8x8 DR+ any DR it had on it before which enables my Warlock to only need 1 DR socket and be DR caped for T1.
