Patch 1200 now live

Halloween quest balance alterations

BOSS movement speed lowered
BOSS damage amounts lowered
ECHO's damage amounts raised
ECHO Dragon's damage amounts raised

Added a invisible blocker near the top that stops you from going back to the entrance until the boss is killed.

increased line of sight and reaction range of all Echo's and their dragon forms.

DARKNESSFALLS BOSSES

Troll Kings armor has been increased.
Tor'hez armor has been increased.
Double Dragons armor has been increased.
Abe's armor has been increased.
Executioner stage 2 armor has been increased.
Warlock stage 4 armor has been increased.

Various bosses damage reduction %'s have been increased.

Dragons in DoubleDragon have had their damage output increased.

Minions in Dragon Rescue have had their damage and armor amounts increased.

The pumpkin encounter is not working as it should, i think, it is always 3 echoes that activates, which makes it very hard, i can deal with 2 if i am careful, but 3 is to much. Noticed that the wall prevents me from going in again if i die so cant really test the pumpkin unless i kill the echoes and then lure him to the start of the dungeon.

Seems like you would need to add a teleport if you want to limit the space players can move on for this encounter.

Same problem here, if I die I cannot kill the other echos or the pumpkin because of the invisible wall that doesn't let me advance, is this made on purpose so we have to kill all of them without dying?

darn it wall, i'll just remove the wall and repatch..


i didn't change anything to make 3 echo's appear.. that shouldn't be happening.

I think i'll add that teleport option, make it from teh start to the bottom, would work

updating it to 1200 with a teleporter.

Actually that happened in the earlier version as well, just wasnt a problem as i ran back to the start and only pulled 1 at a time and wasnt sure if it was intended or not.

I only ever get 2 when I pull the lever, its built in that if you take to long killing the bosses that the rest will start activating thou, that's part of the system.

updated it to 1200, any news on it being weird let me know, also any feedback on the bosses, they should generally take a bit longer to kill.

I'm wearing a residual aftermath set with my berzerker with 17K hp and 75 DR inside the tier2 zone, I can easily kill the echos but I cannot touch the pumpkin boss atm, he attacks too quickly for me and I'm still being one shoted. I may have to put a lot more health in my gear so I can try to take some hits.

17K health in a tier2 zone means 32 in DF which is more than enough for completing all the challange chests, I'll have to farm the warlock for the precious health soulstones. The problem is that I don't know if I will manage to kill him just by getting more and more hp. Salan, can u easily kill him with your test characters?

Easily uh no.  Im trying to figure out the tuning on him.

Its likely a few things as he is using a heroic t1 weapon as well is a duplicate of rak'var so his skills are not custom to the fight.
its also why i made the reward helps quite good

and btw making a random drop for a quest that is not repeatable is should not be part of any game.
it would also help to make him less round around for no appeared reason, the movement pattern has no reason, sometimes he runs away sometimes he charges.
this is the first boss ever in your mod were i will savegame abuse to be able to reopen the chest
how about just placing 2 echo and dont make them random then only 2 can appear. fighing the headman with the wall block and 2 dragons is not trial and error. its trial and die 100 times. every time 100k damage until dead and after 100 deaths its roughly 13million hp
