Damage reflection on enemies

OK, I may be missing something, because this doesn't seem balanced or fun to me. I'm playing an embermage, 75% damage reduction, 75% block, 14khp ect., and I get one shot by unavoidable damage reflection. I shoot one, MAYBE two volleys of prismatic bolts and, sometimes, if I'm unlucky, I go from 100 to 0 instantly.

Yes, I even have deaths bounty on them. It doesn't do enough.
Yes, this is in Darknessfalls.
Yes, I even have 75% WITH the reduced stats you get in the area.

I should note, even if I got the highest theoretical health pool while keeping 75% in my stats, I'd still get 2-4 shot. I'm fine with difficult. But this is seriously turning into "shoot one volly, hope you don't do too much damage, use health potion, wait 5 seconds."
